Bitfinex Securities Nears $250M Milestone in Tokenized Securities

Bitfinex Securities is poised to cross the $250 million threshold in tokenized securities, marking a significant milestone in the digital asset space. The platform, already regulated across multiple jurisdictions, is now seeking a full license from the Astana International Finance Centre (AIFC) to further cement its position.

Since joining the AIFC's Fintech Lab in September 2021, Bitfinex Securities has facilitated $206 million in tokenized securities issuances. Notable projects include the Mikro Kapital tokenized bond program and the Blockstream Mining Note. The platform recently celebrated the successful redemption of Mikro Kapital's first tokenized bond, which paid out USDT 630,000, and the listing of Blockstream Mining Note 2 (BMN2), enabling secondary market trading.

Bitfinex Securities continues to expand its offerings, with the direct listing of TITAN1 and TITAN2—its first tokenized equity issuances, collectively valued at GBP 143 million. The platform's ambition to transition from the AIFC's FintechLab to an Authorized Investment Exchange underscores its commitment to institutional-grade digital asset solutions.
